历史
Pepperdine had an 办公室 of 制度研究 (OIR) that was part of the Information Technology group, circa 1970. During the late 1980s, the OIR began reporting to the 教务长办公室. From 1990 to 2000, the office underwent major technology changes with the establishment of its webpage, and by 1998 the 概况 became an online document. 调查组还协助确认了WSCUC。 In 2007, under new departmental leadership, the office was renamed Educational and Institutional Research (EIR), and shortly thereafter in 2008, the 机构效能办公室 (OIE).

The 机构效能办公室 supports the University's mission, values, and core commitments by providing leadership in the areas of accreditation, assessment, institutional research, and educational research. The OIE aspires to foster a culture of assessment and to provide high-quality data that supports student success and decision-making.

- Oversee University compliance with federal reporting (IPEDS) and accreditation standards (WSCUC).
- Lead, guide, and facilitate the process of reaffirmation of accreditation, substantive program changes, and requests for new programs.
