The Pepperdine community received welcome news Friday, December 5, 2025, as HCA医疗 announced a transformative financial gift to help launch the University’s new 护理学院.

For Angel Coaston, founding dean of Pepperdine’s 护理学院, the extraordinary care she personally received from nurses at an HCA hospital affirms her belief that this partnership will provide students with an unparalleled education from one of the industry’s finest healthcare providers.

佩珀代因大学护理学院于今年秋季开学，目前招收了68名学生。 The school provides undergraduate and graduate nursing degree programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and an Entry Level Master of Science, Clinical Nurse Leader (ELM-CNL).

2026年秋季课程的申请现已开放。 As part of their curriculum and budding partnership, nursing students will have the opportunity to complete clinical rotations at HCA医疗’s Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, California.

This gift contributes to the development of Pepperdine’s new 30000平方英尺的设施, located on the University’s Calabasas campus. The structure features clinical learning laboratories, simulation exam rooms, and welcoming third spaces where students will be equipped to join the healthcare industry.
