Pepperdine alumnus Joel Ornelas ('05) works as an interventional radiologist in the Austin area, serving patients who have experienced massive traumas. His story was submitted by his wife, Tiffany Ornelas.

He treats patients who've experienced massive traumas (car accidents, etc.) that are beyond what surgeons can treat through normal surgical techniques, advanced stages of disease, and those too ill or frail to undergo open surgery.
