Provost Brewster has continued funding for a round of internal grants for unanticipated needs related to scholarship. These 教务长拨款 are for tenured and tenure-track faculty in the graduate and professional schools who may have immediate or pending financial support needs for a scholarship project. These grants ($1,000 - $3,000) may be used for a variety of needs related to research and scholarship. Faculty should submit a brief (2-3 pages) proposal describing the project and how the funds will be used. Proposals, approved by the appropriate dean, as well as a current C.V. should be submitted through the 内部研究计划-申请表格by the deadline of 10月30日, 2025 to be considered for the priority deadline. However, ongoing submissions are allowable after 10月30日 and are reviewed monthly. Note: Faculty are limited to one submission each fiscal year, and applications after the priority deadline must be submitted by April 15 to be considered. Upon receiving an award letter, faculty may begin using the grant for their research endeavors. Any funds that are awarded must be used by 2026年7月15日. Funded projects will be expected to complete the 内部研究报告表格 by 2026年8月15日.
