This initiative will provide funding for dependent care expenses incurred by tenure/tenure-track faculty due to travel to a professional conference, workshop, symposium, or other professional development meetings. Examples of such expenses include, but are not limited to: additional childcare expenses, the cost of transporting a child and/or caregiver to a professional conference, additional elder care expenses, and overnight caregiver costs incurred at home. Awards will be paid as additional compensation and are considered taxable income.

Please note that funding for conference travel must be secured prior to seeking funds through this initiative. The priority deadline for 应用程序 is 2025年8月6日, and then ongoing submissions are allowable.
