As executive vice president, 菲尔·菲利普斯 ('88, JD '92) capitalizes on the experiences in the wide variety of roles in which he has served at Pepperdine—lawyer, associate dean, and chief operating officer—to inform his current leadership position. Phillips oversees all University operations outside the academic area or the President’s Office. These include Finance, Human Resources, 公共安全, Construction, Integrated Marketing Communications, Advancement, General Counsel, Investments, and the Swiss Hauteville campus. Phillips also chairs the Emergency Operations Committee and serves on the interdisciplinary Threat Assessment Team. Phillips is a double alumnus, holding degrees from 西维尔大学 and the 华体会体育.
