莱拉·麦克道尔·卡尔森于2025年3月担任副教务长。 Carlsen previously served as interim vice provost beginning in 2023, where she oversaw the Office of Research, Grants, and Foundation Relations and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. 从2018年到2023年，她担任副教务长。 In her new role, Carlsen will continue to serve as chair of the University Academic Council (UAC), a role she has held since 2018, as well as in leadership capacities on the University Planning Committee, the Advancement of Student Learning Council, and the faculty conference steering committee. Carlsen is also professor of Hispanic studies in the International Studies and Languages Division of 西维尔大学, where she teaches Latin American literature and culture. Her research explores contemporary Latin American literature in its social and historical contexts.
